West Slopes North - Canadian Border to Skagit River

Weather: Moderate winds out of the south, light snowfall

Snowpack: CTM12 BRK (Q3) down ~15 cm, ECTX. Pit dug at 5050 ft on a NNE aspect, slope angle 23 degrees.

Area Description: Baker area, Swift Creek drainage.

Avalanches: Ski cut a small (D1) wind slab on a small NNE facing test slope at 4700 ft near the top of the Swift Creek Drainage. Crown was roughly 10-25cm deep. See picture.
