West Slopes North - Canadian Border to Skagit River

Jan. 7, 2018, 10:30 a.m. PST

Weather: Snowing, 20-25 MPH winds

Area Description: Baker backcountry. Huntoon point. cliff band sort of above swift creek. North aspect.

Avalanches: Evidence of recent sides. Cliff area looked like it slid down to rock on steepest part. Slide path roughly 50yards by 25 yards wide sort of into depression. Appeared to have been lightly snowed on. Looking further out east along the cliff band a Crown could be seen on this noth aspect. Our guess was 2ft tall viewed from afar swift creek entrance.
