Weather: Partly sunny , low teens in valley ,high 20s on summit . No wind . good visibility 20 +mi.

Snowpack: See above .

Area Description: S.E. -S.W. aspect , 4000'-6700' inversion in effect locally , widespread hoar frost 4mm. + in all open slopes ,glades to ridgelines. Wind affected snow in the alpine as well as thickening , settling at all elevations. Snowpack reactive to aggressive skicutting on convex steep rollover features down to the previous hoar layer , about 16 " - 24" depth of failure with no propagation and running no more than 50 '. Remote triggering was also observed on 12-30 on N.-aspect at 4500'-5000' open scree field 30 deg. slope on 2 convex rollovers 200' from skier trigger at treed edge of opening. Both settled within 30' , 6" stepping down 10" more.
