West Slopes North - Canadian Border to Skagit River

Weather: Clear sky, calm wind, no blowing snow, and no precipitation

Snowpack: Wind-drifts were comprised of 40cm of fist-hard soft snow over the pencil+ hard Dec. 30 rain crust. We observed repeatable Q2 results in compression tests above the Dec 30 crust.

Area Description: Baker backcountry- Bagley Basin: We dug 3 test pits targeting small wind-drifted features at 4300ft on NW-N-NE aspects near tree line.
