South side route.

April 20, 2015, 9:30 a.m. PST

Weather: Clear and hot. Seems like it did freeze overnight. Warmed up quickly after sun hit ridge at about 8 am.

Snowpack: Mostly stable with some water on top part of snowpack

Area Description: Roller balls above crater rock as well as a small loose slide near the bottom of the pearly gates. Looks like from Sunday 4-19. Also, some debris just east of illumination saddle. Snow firm on skin up, didn't transition well through corn stage-mostly just firm then slush. Looks like conditions will be good for another day of VERY early climbing on south side route.
