Recreational Observation

Toured low angle terrain NW of Mazama.

Dec. 20, 2017, 2 p.m. PST

Weather: Weather was clear and very windy on the ridges, sustained 15-20mph with gusts to 35-40 out of the NW. Looking west, visible major wind transport was occurring on all peaks and ridges near the crest. Wind slabs certainly a concern tomorrow in affected terrain. Figured I'd pass on the observations since the WA Pass Wx station is down.
