Recreational Observation

East Slopes Central - Lake Chelan to South of I-90

March 4, 2017, 6 p.m. PST

Weather: Cloudy with light winds and snow showers of varying intensity

Snowpack: Firm. Skiable but not by much. The new snow coming down formed absolutely no bond with the surface. Some small wind transport found on SE - E slopes. Unlikely to bury anyone but with the firm surface a slide through the trees is possible.

Area Description: South and West facing slopes NE of Cle Elum at ~4000 ft
