Weather: Broken clouds ,25 deg. Lt. wind. good visibility.

Snowpack: 12" powder well bonded to firm supportable crust .

Area Description: Liberty Bowl , Wa. Pass. N. facing aspect . 1/4mi. west of Blue Pk. cornice , at base of cliff bands and wind loaded snowfield interface.

Avalanches: Liberty Bowl , R3 D3 , 200m. wide X 4-6' deep , running 300m. leaving car size blocks in deposition. Exact date of event unknown.
