Returned to site of avalanches triggered yesterday to conduct a full profile in adjacent part of slope. The angle was estimated yesterday to be 30 degrees but measured today at 40!

Weather: Scattered clouds, calm, no precip, -2 C air temp, general warming trend
Snowpack: HS 75 cm, boot pen 70 cm. 75-42 cm down 1-1.5mm rounds, 42-26 cm down MFpc 2-3mm, 26-17 cm down MFcl 1.5mm, 17-ground DHcp 2-4mm. Attempted a CT on the layer that slid yesterday but got a CTV to ground on depth hoar instead.
Area Description: Methow Valley, NE aspect on the valley's edge, 1850'
Avalanches: None triggered, profile site was selected adjacent to two separate D1 slabs (triggered yesterday)
