Snoqualmie Pass

Feb. 4, 2017, noon PST

Area Description: West face of Kendall Knob.

Avalanches: From the Chevron station at the pass I saw what appeared to be a naturally triggered storm slab on the west face of Kendall Knob at about 12pm. Visibility was low so no real photos, but there was an obvious crown on the high point of the knob. The slab release covered the height of the slope to the first plateau below.
