Reid glacier, W aspect. Slopes between 35 and 55 degrees. Sandwiched between two ridges providing S, N, and NE aspects.

Jan. 27, 2017, 8 a.m. PST

Weather: Scattered clouds, -7 deg C, no precipitation. Valley fog 1300-1500m. Light winds at 2700m, est. 25mph sustained SW winds at 3400m on ridge, but with no visible snow transport.

Snowpack: Boot pen on the glacier was up to 3 ft, rock on ridges had 2-3 cm rime ice originating from W. Lacked time for profile.
