Climbed out of Mt Hood Meadows HRM lot up Clark Creek Canyon. Skinned to 5800' and descended the ridge due to gusty winds. Skied treed W; SW aspect with ~40cm of low density snow on the supportable rain crust.

Weather: Occasional snow; wind BTL 10-20

Snowpack: Dug a quick pit @5600' on a wind loaded W; SW aspect. Was able to replicate a Q2 failure at CT16 on the rain crust. Little propagation.
