Comments: Powder morning in the Alpental beacon park. Dug into an apparently virgin open slope. Layers of note: Beautiful 3 mm stellar flakes on top Graupel 10 cm down failing consistently at CT4 Crust 25 cm down, with a weakness beneath failing consistently at CT13. ECT failed half-block also at 13. Inconsistent CT25 60 cm down. Shovel shears pop well above a crust 70 cm down, but nothing in CT.
