SW facing aspect. Snowboarded the tree line.

Weather: Clear. Sunset

Snowpack: 8-12in of powder snow on a crust.

Area Description: Hiked up heather ridge to the cell phone tower dropped down from there towards Tye road. Triggered a slab about 50 ft -75 ft across with a 12in crown. My partner James Gillespie immediately avoided the avalanche by riding to the side. 2 people in our party both with avalanche gear and knowledge.
