Weather: Light snowfall (S1) this morning increasing to moderate snowfall currently (S2). Currently 9.5" new snow (HS24). Light westerly winds @5-10mph in Paradise this morning trending to moderate westerly winds @10-20mps currently. Cloud cover and visibility steadily decreased from overcasts with Tatoosh visible to currently obscured with 300 meter visibly. Temps steadily decreasing from 30deg. F this morning to currently 23deg. F.

Snowpack: Firm 5cm surface ice crust observed yesterday (12/22) on SE to SW aspects that was very supportive and necessitated ski crampons on even moderate slopes. Tsurf: -4.5deg. C on 12/22. Today (12/23) signs of developing storm snow becoming increasingly cohesive that cracks and sliding easily under ski on ice crust. No propagating/shooting cracks observed in new snow.
