Feb. 13, 2015, 2 p.m. PST
Weather: Mid 50's. Sunny with a slight overcast.
Snowpack: Stable but shallow at 5k. Measured with a ski poke. Didn't bother digging or probing for dept. Some aspects are dry, rocks exposed everywhere. Won't last long.
Area Description: Kendall lakes region and the mostly southern facing zone. Little snow below trees @ 4500'. More snow out on open terrain and shallower slopes. Above 5k on steeper slopes there is a thin foot to three of snow pack. Some aspects are, on the other hand, completely dry.
