Lookers left skin track to ridge top above Maggies face, along ridge top to the bowling alley. Skied glades up to 30 degrees back to road

Nov. 26, 2016, 1 p.m. PST

Weather: Snowing moderately 1/2"per hour, overcast 1/4 mile visibility

Snowpack: Pit dug on E face at 5400 ft with heavy wind deposits. HS 155cm. Unconsolidated fresh over 55cm of 1F to a 4F transition on older unconsolidated snow from Friday / Saturday. Isolated column showed results at 55cm CT6 Q3. And the column collapsed at CT 22 with multiple fractures down to 120cm. ECT showed no propagation on any layer . Unconsolidated loose snow seams to be the major concern on S SE faces.

Area Description: S to SE facing runs above the Maggies pullout on hurricane ridge road.

Avalanches: Unconsolidated snow sluffs, no propagation or slides triggered on slopes skied. Did not venture into N NE slopes where wind slabs may be present. Large cornice formation on ridge top.
