Short tour to East Peak, W asp trees, accessed via south shoulder above Bullion Basin.

Weather: Slight warming trend and lull between storms

Snowpack: HS above 5500ft variable in depth maxing out at 80cms in wind protected terrain near TL. Ski pen to 20-40cm, boot pen typically to the ground. Recent storm snow slightly upside down due to warming and wind. Some clean shears at 20cm within the HST that should settle out quickly. Minor surface cracking to 10cms in wind affected terrain. Fresh and tender cornicing off ridgecrest above Cement Basin. Ski quality good at TL and fair BTL
