Winter trail to Source Lake

Weather: Sky: X patchy-dense fog Precip: NO Air T: N/O : ~freezing @0930 : ~ above freezing @1230 Visibility: 40m-70m Wind: L SE

Snowpack: 195cm pit, Probe suggested HS 285cm. Slope angle ~33deg ~1cm Pencil crust on ~50cm 4F to ~5cm Knife+ Jan 5th crust CT21(BRK/Q3) @~47cm in Jan 6th snow.

Area Description: Snoqualmie. Pass, South Fork Snoqualmie River, NW of Source Lake Elev: ~3860ft Slope Aspect: SE

Avalanches: Observed numerous recent WL ranging from D1-D2 seen BTL-ATL on N and S aspects. Potentially occurred during Jan 10th temp spike? Limited visibility and a short day prevented getting eyes on higher elevation snow surfaces.
