Snoqualmie Pass

Jan. 16, 2016, 11 p.m. PST

Weather: Clearing with the wind picking up. As the wind picked up tree bombs began to fall extensively.

Snowpack: Hand pit found 30cm+ of wet heavy snow covered by a 0.5cm rain crust of large rounded crystals. Test cuts and jumps on 35 - 55' little test slopes only released the snow directly below the skis. No signs of propagation.

Area Description: E / SE facing slope on Kendall, 3300'
