Recreational Observation

Toured North of Mission Ridge Ski Area and found excellent ski conditions on all aspects.

Weather: Below 0 C. Low winds out of E-N and very little precip. Mod-Low visibility.

Snowpack: HS 100-120 cm depending on aspect. Pole tests show a mostly right side up snowpack with some basal layers feeling softer than those above. Surface Hoar and rimed forms are widespread on surface.

Area Description: Stemilt Basin East-North facing 5,000-6,000'.

Avalanches: None. Skied 30-35 degrees slopes with no signs instability.
