Weather: Winds calm. Temps around -9 C at 5000'. Morning clouds gave way to blue skies with few clouds. No precip or blowing snow.

Snowpack: @ 4590', Asp: NE, Slope: 30, HS:130, PenFoot: 40, PenSki: 20, T surf: -13, T 20: -7.5. Continuing to track 12/16 SH. Here it was @56cm, 9mm grains, losing their striations and looking like swiss cheese. On this layer had STH RP, CTH SP, and PST 70/100 (End)down 73cm on 20151216. Did not observe this layer react to ski tests.
