Traversing south slope below ridge into Mazama Bowl.

Dec. 27, 2015, 10:15 a.m. PST

Weather: Moderate to high winds, snow coming down. White out conditions.

Snowpack: Unconsolidated storm slab w/ furthering wind affected sections throughout the day.

Area Description: 48.85789,-121.70248. Approx. 4900'. S aspect slope between Bagley lakes and Herman Saddle.

Avalanches: R2/D2 slide that ran approx. 30 meters and came to rest on bench. 35 degree convex rollover. 10-12 cm crown propagated upslope from 2nd skier and came down on 1st. Carried 1st skier into partial burial.
