Crossed the west fork of the Methow River and ascended to a high point NE of Driveway Butte.

Dec. 22, 2015, 2 p.m. PST

Weather: Mostly sunny, consistent west wind 5-10 mph

Snowpack: Storm snow, wind slab

Area Description: Above treeline, N aspect, 5840'

Avalanches: Skier triggered wind slab on N facing slope at 5840'. 2 skiers caught, carried ~50 ft. Crown ranged from 6" at trigger point to ~2ft. Unable to determine how far debris ran.
