Weather: Snowing hard with slight warming

Snowpack: Location: Small clearing in trees just below the ridge, Elevation: 5,700 ft, NE facing. Approximately 30 inches new powder atop rain crust from earlier in the week. Hand shear test fairly stable with clean shear at about 15 inches.
