Skiing a short little chute/shot down into the pineapple pass basin

Feb. 28, 2018, 11 a.m. PST

Weather: Clear with clouds

Area Description: Up near pineapple pass on a bench towards Bryant peak

Avalanches: 4 skiers skied the line, first two triggered nothing, maybe a little sluff. Third triggered a wind slab (6” approx) which then stepped down to a slab about 2’ deep on an icy crust layer. The step down was a small area and didn’t propagate that large, maybe due to the nature of the terrain. Please see attached picture. No one was injured, skied skied ahead of the snow
