Skinned up Lake Marion trail to E-NE facing bowls above. Descended past Bomber Cliffs to Mission Ridge Ski Area to avowing thin snowcover on lower trail.

Feb. 4, 2018, 6 p.m. PST

Weather: Strong SW winds, warm temps, light rain and snow. Broken to Overcast Skies.

Snowpack: We skied 30 degree bowls on wet snow from above freezing temps and light rain. Ski quality was fair. Another course in the area found a persistent weak layer on E-NE aspects @6,000' that was reactive in pit tests down 1 foot.

Area Description: Mission Ridge

Avalanches: Small wet loose in steep terrain below Bomber Cliffs.
