Ski toured from Alpy upper lot to the thumbtack col. descended the couloir to snow lake divde and then out via source lake.

Jan. 10, 2018, 2 p.m. PST

Weather: Light snow, winds light with ridge top up to 15mph. Limited visibility.

Snowpack: New snow on last weeekends rain crust, 10 to 30 cms depending on elevation and aspect.

Area Description: Slope above Snow Lake Divde, south facing.

Avalanches: Ski cut south facing couloir and released a size 1.5 avalanche, which ran 100 meters. Crown was 15 to 25 cms. Snow slide on smooth well supported rain crust.
