Weather: Overcast. Light to moderate snow. Light to Moderate winds. 26 degrees fahrenheit.

Snowpack: 8-10 inches new snow. Wind blown during storm cycle with variable depth.

Area Description: North aspect. 5500 ft. Near treeline. 40 degrees.

Avalanches: Skier triggered on convex roll and self arrested. 5-12 inch crown with extensive propagation. Reacted fast on graupel layer formed early in storm cycle. D2 R3
