The Mountain Weather location names were updated to match the NWAC Avalanche Forecast Zones on December 10th, 2020. These changes now include more forecast areas than the previous version of the Mountain Weather forecast. The precipitation forecast is the only forecast variable that is for a point. All other forecast variables are on a zonal scale.
